Abstract

A review was carried out about the Cuban neurosurgery history. The key contribution of Carlos M. Ramírez Corría, father of Cuban neurosurgery, was highlighted. Also was considered the involvement of relevant neurosurgeons until now, and educational and internationalism contribution.
